Darnell McDonald - SUSO Founder "Yoga Journal Interview "
The Spark: SUSO's call to action is sparked by compassion to support a gap in the social and emotional health of fathers within a holistic organization.
The Impact: A generational movement where each father is an architect of tomorrow's enduring legacies, who believe in the sacred responsibility of fatherhood.

For decades, communities have been built around programs about fathers but rarely for fathers. Fathers are often left without the emotional, social, and educational support systems they need to thrive — leading to cycles of disconnection, economic instability, and generational pain.
SUSO’s philosophy is simple yet radical: 'Strong fathers build strong families. Strong families build thriving communities.' From Denver to Phoenix and beyond, SUSO is uniting fathers of all backgrounds who believe that healing, leadership, and entrepreneurship are sacred responsibilities.
How SUSO Operates - The 3 Pillars:
1. SUPPORT: Whole-person wellness and economic stability through emotional development labs, business incubators retreats, and father centered community gatherings.
2. COLLABORATE: Strategic alliances with universities, faith institutions, businesses, community partners and Father Focused 501 (c)(3)s to amplify reach, community and sustainability.
3. EDUCATE: Father focused Social and Emotional Community Education programs to increase awareness and compassionate support of SUSO's Mission and Vision. Knowledge-sharing and mentorship programs to equip fathers to lead, advocate, and teach — cultivating intergenerational leadership.
SUSO's Pillars are Fortified through our 7 Operational Tenants and The 7 Pathways to Legacy.
SUSO centers fathers as catalysts for change, merging healing, purpose, and entrepreneurship. The organization focuses on transformation and legacy — powered by storytelling and lived testimony.
"When a father heals, a family thrives. When a family thrives, a community rises. When communities rise, a nation transforms."
SUSO isn’t just changing fathers — it’s building movements. It’s turning fathers into scholars, healers, entrepreneurs, and leaders who show up with purpose and show out with excellence.
Empowered fathers inherently support Mothers and Children.
We believe that fatherhood is not a role — it’s a revolution. A revolution of presence, purpose, and possibility. Every father who steps into SUSO becomes part of something greater than himself — a living legacy.
SUSO: Show Up and Show Out. From spark to impact, we build the architects of tomorrow.
